Friday Fact: You……. are ALWAYS on His mind!

Good Friday to ya! What a beautiful thing, to meditate on Jesus this Good Friday! I hope you all had a good couple of weeks and I pray God bless and favor you as He is glorified and exahalted in all things. Most of this fact today is truly “fact” it is the words from a dear Savior that loves us so much. I can’t help but be humbled when I read and meditate on this passage. If you knew you were about to die, what would be on your mind? Would it be your family, maybe those dear and near to you. Before Jesus was arrested He was spending tender moments with His disciples, He was encouraging, edifying and teaching them. He was comforting them and trying to prepare them for His death. I encourage you to read John 14-17 in some quiet time, meditating on Jesus and having tender moments with Him before we celebrate this Easter Sunday. I couldn’t help but humbly weep as I read about how loving and tender Jesus was in human form and to know that His spirit know lives inside of me is overwhelming. Friend, you were on His mind even before He willingly laid down His life for you. He prayed to God on your behalf, this should really tare our hearts out that Jesus, at every moment is interceding for us. Just when we think we are all alone, Jesus is pleading our case. What is it today that has your burdened down? I encourage you to open the word, go to John 17 and read the prayer that our Savior prayed over us. He knew there would be hard times, grief, pain, many afflictions and many attacks from the enemy. He prayed that God protect us from the evil one. There is such a peace in knowing, I am always on His mind. I also leave you with Isaiah 53 and I want you to pay close attention to the very last verse, He made “intercession”.

” Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.”

This is quite a bit of scripture but think about this, Jesus made the time to pray and interceed for you right before He was so brutally and violently beaten,mocked and crucified for you, do you have time today to meditate and share what He done for you? Every believers tears put together thinking about what happened to our Savior could never compare to all the blood spilled on this day. I pray this blesses and ministers deep into your soul.
John 17
New King James Version (NKJV)
Jesus Prays for Himself

17 Jesus spoke these words, lifted up His eyes to heaven, and said: “Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son also may glorify You, 2 as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should[a] give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. 4 I have glorified You on the earth. I have finished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was.

Jesus Prays for His Disciples

6 “I have manifested Your name to the men whom You have given Me out of the world. They were Yours, You gave them to Me, and they have kept Your word. 7 Now they have known that all things which You have given Me are from You. 8 For I have given to them the words which You have given Me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came forth from You; and they have believed that You sent Me.

9 “I pray for them. I do not pray for the world but for those whom You have given Me, for they are Yours. 10 And all Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine, and I am glorified in them.11 Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me,[b] that they may be one as We are. 12 While I was with them in the world,[c] I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept;[d] and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled. 13 But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one. 16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.17 Sanctify them by Your truth. Your word is truth. 18 As You sent Me into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I sanctify Myself, that they also may be sanctified by the truth.

Jesus Prays for All Believers

20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[e] believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. 22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: 23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

24 “Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. 25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. 26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

Isaiah 53

New King James Version (NKJV)

53 Who has believed our report?
And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,
And as a root out of dry ground.
He has no form or comeliness;
And when we see Him,
There is no beauty that we should desire Him.
3 He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray;
We have turned, every one, to his own way;
And the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,
And who will declare His generation?
For He was cut off from the land of the living;
For the transgressions of My people He was stricken.
9 And they[a] made His grave with the wicked—
But with the rich at His death,
Because He had done no violence,
Nor was any deceit in His mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise Him;
He has put Him to grief.
When You make His soul an offering for sin,
He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,
And the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in His hand.
11 He shall see the labor of His soul,[b] and be satisfied.
By His knowledge My righteous Servant shall justify many,
For He shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore I will divide Him a portion with the great,
And He shall divide the spoil with the strong,
Because He poured out His soul unto death,
And He was numbered with the transgressors,
And He bore the sin of many,
And made intercession for the transgressors.

Friday Fact: The Strength of my Life!

Good Afternoon. I hope you all had a wonderful week and I pray God bless and highly favor you in all things as He is glorified. I couldn’t wait to get home from work to put into words what I heard in my spirit this morning before I left for work. I’m not sure if any of you are familar with the song “Total Praise”, if not I really encourage you to find it. I just want to share a few of the lyrics.

“Lord I will lift mine eyes to the hills, knowing my help is coming from You. Your peace, You give me in time of the storm. You are the source of my strength, You are the strength of my life! I lift my hands in total praise to You!”
As I was reading this morning I came to Psalms 27. I hardly got past the first few verses, my soul was overwhelmed!
Psalm 27

1The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

The phrase “strength of my life” jumped into my heart! I looked the definition of strength.

1.
the quality or state of being strong; bodily or muscularpower; vigor.
2.
mental power, force, or vigor.
3.
moral power, firmness, or courage.
4.
power by reason of influence, authority, resources, numbers,etc.
5.
number, as of personnel or ships in a force or body

Come on folks, think about that for a minute! I ask God right now to place me in the midst of some believers who know “The Source” of their strength, “The Strength” of their life. If you read here strength represents numbers, how many believers really believe God is the strength of their life? If you believe that with me it’s time to join forces, for there is strength in numbers! It really doesn’t matter to me who you are, what color you are, where you’re from, how old you are, what gender you are. I just want to join in with some folks that believe God is the strength of their life and that He is the “ONLY” source and let’s begin to pray, declare and decree God’s word and come at the enemy like a flood! David declared in verses 2 &3 that when the enemy came upon him, they stumbled and fell, he goes on to declare that even though a host encamp around about him, his heart would not fear and though war rise against him, he would stand confident. How many times has the enemy made war against you? How many times have you declared “get the behind me satan, no weapon formed against me shall prosper in Jesus Name? What if you joined forces with another believer and started declaring that you know where your help comes from, that you are going to lift your eyes towards the hills because God is the source of your stength and the strength of your life! The enemy can’t stand against even one “true” believer, what will happen when we begin to join forces? Read the rest of Psalms 27 for it speaks for itself! Your momma,daddy, sister, brother,spouse or friend might forske you but God will never leave or forske you! Hallelujah! Our declaration should be that of verses 5-14! I hope you have been blessed and feel free to share that God may be exhalted.

5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
8When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
9Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
10When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
11Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
12Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
13I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD!
